Our client is a leading customer service chemical company delivering a range of solutions specific to the Horticultural sector within Australia.

About the role

This role will support and develop technologies and solutions for the company and its customers which is “key” in ensuring the ongoing growth of the business.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing directly with growers, suppliers, and working with the team to identify new opportunities / solutions to meet our customer’s needs
• Translating customer needs into a mechanism of knowledge for improved product development
• Set-up and oversee field trials as important component of product development work
• Incorporating appropriate regulatory requirement into products development
• Internal communication of technology and project results
• Working externally to advance the company’s reputation as a leading specialist in the Horticultural sector within Australia

Education / Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science or Applied Science degree* in Agriculture, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of professional Agricultural experience
• Technical experience in product implementations and customer product testing required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen
• Self-motivated, high initiative and result orientated
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
