About the Company
Our client is an Agricultural service company based in Esperance, Western Australia. The Esperance farming region is considered a progressive reliable area with growers embracing a rapid adoption of new technology and farming techniques.
About the role
This role would suit an experienced Agronomist who seeks to challenge themselves as a service provider via innovative ideas and concepts to maximise production through collaboration with clients and supplier partners along with our extensive trial program.
Responsibilities
- Working with clients on a fee for service basis
- Developing a customer base and maintaining a level of clients to remain profitable
- Providing a highly professional and comprehensive agronomic service, through providing technical service in broadacre cropping and pasture programs to the company’s agronomy clients
- Ensure that client records are maintained accurately and ensure that clients are invoiced for services
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Agronomy/Science based disciplines.
- Minimum 2-5 years in field experience
- Knowledge of the products, customers and local market
- Strong interpersonal and sales abilities
- Previous experience in agronomy and knowledge of farming enterprises
- Sound problem-solving skills
- Sound administrative skills, computer skills, company computer programs and good analytical and reporting abilities
