About the Company
Our client, a local, well established business that has been operating in the Gippsland area for over 35 years.
About the role
Primarily provide fertiliser spreading services to customers and provide bin/bag delivery services and operational support to the depot as required.
Responsibilities
- Safely, accurately and efficiently spread fertiliser on Customers properties
- Proactively undertake preventative maintenance of all equipment used
- Support the plant operator/s with timely and accurate information to accurately mix/blend products for loading
- Assist in the operation of the blending plant, with bin deliveries or other depot duties as required
- Accurately and promptly record any fertiliser bin movements made
- Perform the storage, handling and dispatching of stock in a safe manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
- Experience in the spreading of fertiliser using truck or tractor spreaders
- Experience in delivery of bulk products via trucks desirable but not essential
- An ability to competently operate and manage mobile equipment
- A strong commitment to quality customer service
- An uncompromising approach to operating safely
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, planning and problem-solving skills
