About the Company

Our Client is a leader in the provision of liquid nutrients and crop empowerment products. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Sales & Agronomy Person to join their team.

About the role

The National Sales Manager (NSM) has prime responsibility for the sales and profitability of the National sales forecast, as approved by the Business Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the timely development and approval of the national Sales and Marketing program for all relevant territories and areas within Australia.
  • Implement approved business development plans
  • Oversee and monitor budget and expense activities by the Sales team
  • Manage the Company Pricing Policy
  • Develop and maintain key account relationships
  • Manage and review performance of Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers and provide coaching and training as required
  • Management and review of Business Plans and Weekly Plans
  • Assist Business Manager with monthly Sales and Marketing Report

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Business Administration or Bachelor Degree in Management or Agricultural Business Management is desirable or significant relevant experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven time management skills
  • Proven ability to exercise initiative and problem-solving skills
