About the Company

Our client is an industry leader in the manufacture and marketing of brand name Agchemical products.

About the role

Works within a defined sales territory or market segment to maximize sales, profit and market share of the company’s crop protection portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or implements sales plans and marketing promotions aligned to business objectives, product and channel strategies
  • Provide sales support and agency management services to the retail outlets of customers in the assigned territory
  • Strengthen the company’s competitive position through the creation and retention of satisfied customers
  • Leverage customer relationships and market intelligence to optimize sales results
  • Act as account manager for assigned customer accounts

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or commerce
  • Experience in a sales, commercial or technical role; preferably 5+ years in a sales role within agriculture or a related field
  • Knowledge of agricultural chemicals and agricultural retail channel
  • Knowledge agronomic principles and practices in Australia
  • Strong Knowledge of broadacre production systems
  • Develops and Maintains good customer relationships
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and team orientation
