About the Company

Our client is a leading Australian Agribusiness that is involved in the Distribution of agricultural inputs to Australian farmers.

About the role

They seek to appoint a confident individual to manage the ongoing success and development of the business. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and implementation of Business, Sales and Market Development.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for delivering budgeted sales volume and mix
  • Key account management
  • Plan and implement structured sales strategies to achieve targets in volume and revenue
  • Maintain and intensify existing customer relationships and develop new relationships with industry participants – Resellers and Large growers
  • Provide timely and accurate budget and forecast information
  • Identify and establish business opportunities
  • Analyse and report accurately competitor market intelligence

Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills

  • Demonstrated sales ability in the fertiliser or crop protection markets
  • Existing reseller / grower network
  • A graduate degree in Agriculture or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar commercial sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build sustainable business relationships
  • Excellent commercial and negotiating skills

With previous experience in a similar role, you will be energetic, self-confident and a results driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills which will allow you to build strong long term relationships with your customers.

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
