Our client an industry leader in the manufacture and marketing of brand name Animal Health products is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Animal Health Specialist. Reporting to the Southern Region Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and ensuring future business growth and profitability of the product portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key distributors, opinion leaders, rural retailers and end users.
  • Developing, implementing and controlling sales activity plans in line with the company objectives.
  • Managing sales and expense budgets for the region.

Requirements

Commercially focused, you will be self-motivated, reliable, capable of working unsupervised with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales, complemented by a strong understanding of livestock operating systems. The ability to plan and manage your time and the confidence to negotiate at all levels of the distribution channel would be seen as essential. A current driver's license and a willingness to travel throughout the territory on a regular basis are essential.
