About the Company
Our client is an industry leader in the manufacture and marketing of brand name Animal Health products.
About the role
Reporting to the QLD General Manager, Sales the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and ensuring future business growth and profitability of the product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key distributors, opinion leaders, rural retailers and end users.
- Developing, implementing and controlling sales activity plans in line with the company objectives.
- Managing sales and expense budgets for the region.
Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills
- Commercially focused, you will be self-motivated, reliable, capable of working unsupervised
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven track record in sales
- A strong understanding of livestock, and particularly beef operating systems
- The ability to plan and manage your time and the confidence to negotiate at all levels
- A current driver's license and a willingness to travel throughout the territory on a regular basis are essential
